The difficulty depends on the tooth: a single-rooted one is easier to remove, a multi-rooted one takes longer, and an unerupted wisdom tooth may require an incision in the gum. That is why these cases are separated in the price list.
When extraction is considered
- The tooth is so broken down that it cannot be restored

How it works at Dentika

In the 2026–2027 price list extraction is split: single-rooted, multi-rooted, wisdom teeth (upper and lower, erupted and unerupted) and baby teeth. The doctor names the exact amount after examination.
Is extraction painful?
Extraction is done under local anaesthesia, so there should be no pain during the procedure. Some discomfort is possible once the anaesthesia wears off — the doctor will explain how to manage it.
Are stitches needed?
Not always. Stitches are placed when needed — they speed up healing. The price list has separate items for suturing the socket.
When can an implant or denture be placed after extraction?
It depends on the situation: sometimes implantation is planned immediately, sometimes after healing. The doctor will explain the options at the consultation.
